What’s Right With Me: A New Approach to Raising Confident, Emotionally Resilient Kids

Have you ever looked at a child you love and wished they could see what you see — their kindness, their creativity, their courage?

Too often, children grow up being asked, “What’s wrong with you?” — by society, by peers, sometimes even unintentionally by those closest to them. That question chips away at their self-worth and teaches them to measure themselves by deficits instead of strengths.

That’s why I created What’s Right With Me — a new strengths-based approach designed to help children discover what makes them unique, capable, and worthy, just as they are.

Why I Created “What’s RIGHT With Me”

As an experienced paediatric occupational therapist, What’s RIGHT With Me is a deeply personal and professional response to what I’ve seen over 30 years in practice — a growing number of children who feel overwhelmed, anxious, and disconnected from their true selves.

Grounded in social-emotional learning (SEL) and occupational therapy, this approach helps children aged 0–12 build confidence, emotional regulation skills, and a strong sense of identity. It's proactive, positive, and practical — created for families, therapists, educators, and carers who want to raise kids who feel seen.
